I lost the key of my TSA lock, what should I do?

Please take a photo of the lock, especially one with cylinder number clearly shown near the cylinder, contact the brand or retailer where you purchased the lock or luggage. If you're in a hurry to open the suitcase, suggest you take it to the shop where you purchased luggage or locks for help or look for a locksmith nearby.

Please note: Almost all TSA lock with combination wheels does not equip with a user key. Every TSA lock comes with a keyhole, but it is only for the use of security personnel to inspect the baggage.

My TSA lock does not work, it's always unlocked no matter what the code is, what can I do?

It is possible that the security officer forgot to relock the TSA lock after completing the baggage security check. Please try to insert a tool into the lock cylinder, rotate it in the direction of the arrow as shown in the picture below until it lines up with the red dot on the side of the cylinder, and finally it will be locked again.

It will take you a little time and patience to rediscover the correct unlock code. Please try all possible combination of codes between 000 and 999 (e.g. 000, 001, 002, 003 up to the one that will unlock successfully).

You may think it will take a long time, but the whole process will actually take no more than 30 minutes. Be patient and give it a try, at least you won't have to buy a new lock. Alternatively, you can contact the retailer, brands that sold you this product for help or look for a locksmiths.
